It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Celebration Matte Eyeshadow Palette

The Naturally Pretty Celebration palette is a matte eyeshadow palette with 14 matte shades! I do not have as many matte palettes as I do shimmery palettes so, this was something I had to buy!

It also has one transforming shade. The point of that is so, that you may sweep it on top of the matte shade and transform the matte shadow into a slightly shimmering pearly shadow. You may also cover your brush with a matte shade, then the transforming shade and then apply the shadow onto your lid. I thought that was pretty cool and convenient.

It comes in a shimmery silver case which is some sort of cardboard material. It looks cute but I do wish they had used metal though.

Cozy – matte soft ginger

The colors lean more warm than cool. I definitely would recommend this palette to anyone looking for a matte palette. The shades are buttery and true to color! You can use them wet as a liner or dry as a shadow. And, the transforming shade is a plus!

Furthermore, the eye shadows have anti-aging properties as they contain:

Peptides.
Hydrolyzed collagen.
Silk anti-oxidants.
Hyaluronic acid

Discussion of sunscreen and sunscreen recommendations.

The importance of sunscreen is often overlooked. But, the truth is that you need to protect your skin from sun damage regardless of whether it is sunny or not, the rays are still there even in the winter when the sun is not clearly visible!

Sun damage consists of:

Aging.
Spots-uneven skin tone.
Skin cancer.
Sunburn.

You may think that your skin looks just fine but things are not always as they seem; looks can be deceiving.

If you have sensitive skin then be sure to look for a sunscreen that is fragrance free, oil-free and non comedogenic (not pore blocking). You may also get more natural based sunscreen if you prefer that. Opt for at least SPF 15 but 30 is better.

Yes, some foundations do have SPF but I am sure you do not put on pumps of makeup so, it won’t be enough.

Boscia Oil-Free Daily Hydration SPF 15 – is a product that I recommend. Ideal for all skin types.

I have both sensitive and combination skin. This is one of the very few moisturizers with SPF that I do not find to be greasy or leave my face looking oily. The only downside is that it’s more costly than other SPF sources. This does not break me out or have a white ghostly look, lol. The texture is extremely light but creamy! It disappears into my skin so fast that sometimes I find myself putting on more.

A drugstore sunscreen that I recommend is:

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SPF 30 Sunscreen

What I like about this:

Sheer-no ghostly white cast on face.
Oil-free, matte finish.
Not greasy, disappears into your skin fast. Dry-touch advertisement is accurate!
Affordable price.
Water resistant.

Can be bought at your local drugstore, Target-cheapest there, less than $10, Walmart, etc.

Don’t forget to protect your body from the sun’s rays, too! 🙂
